Two Simple Apps that Can EARN Money & SAVE Money When You Buy Groceries

Lots of people are into couponing.  They clip the coupons or download them online and use them in their every day shopping trips.  Some people spend a lot of time doing this and swear it is worth it.

Personally, I have neither the patience nor the time to do this.

And, living in Swan River, we don't have access to as many coupons and they aren't as easy to find.  Less stores = less opportunity to use coupons.

But, there are two apps that you can use easily if you have a smart phone.

One of them is Coupgon, which you can use at Co-op.  You don't even have to download an extra app on your phone if you already have the Co-op app (and I do recommend it because you get easy access to the sales flyers AND you get special coupons from Co-op each week).  The Co-op app includes the Coupgon app, which allows you to "clip" the coupon and present it when you're at the cash register. You can find coupons for all sorts of things from convenience foods to luxury foods to staple and even non-food items, like shampoo and stuff like that.

The other app I love is called Checkout 51.  With this app, you take a picture of your receipt and claim items that are offered on the app.  The nice thing is that you can use it at any store that is offering items that are on the app.  Even sale items!

And this is a bonus - there are usually liquor items on there, too!  If you're going to drink anyway, why not try something new and get money back on it?

You can see some of the Checkout 51 offers here!

It's extremely easy to use and when you've earned $20 they'll send you a check (and yes, I've gotten a check in the past)!

These apps are easy to use and if you want to save money but don't want to spend a lot of time couponing, this is a great alternative.
